Using the new Squarespace + Acuity Scheduling Integration

UPDATE / DISCLAIMER (May 2019): This post was published prior to Acuity merging with Squarespace! If you linked your Acuity account with Squarespace prior to the merger in early 2019, you’ll continue to have access to the Emerging Entrepreneur plan for FREE. Otherwise, they no longer offer this deal. The information in this post will still be helpful in setting your Acuity account up with your Squarespace website though.

Having an online scheduler just got easier.

As someone who works with a lot of independent yoga teachers, I'm pretty pumped about this one.

We've talked about online schedulers before on this blog, so you already know Acuity Scheduling is my favorite scheduling tool for independent coaches, teachers, therapists and trainers. If you work one-on-one with clients, you know how important keeping an organized and efficient schedule is. Offering online appointment booking and client-managed rescheduling will make you look a whole lot more professional and will save you time in your inbox going back and forth comparing calendars. It's an easy way to "up" the level of your business.

And now your Acuity scheduler is built right into your Squarespace website.  Squarespace has recently parterned with Acuity to make scheduling appointments with clients easy for business owners who have a Squarespace website. Acuity also threw in free lifetime accounts of their Emerging Entrepreneur plan which would normally run you $120/year. Nice work with that negotiation, Squarespace!

Acuity is full of features too: you can sell multiple packages, offer add-ons, require payment before booking, offer coupon codes and even sync your appointment availability with your google or outlook calendar.

Here's a quick video tour of the integration and how I recommend setting it up:

Your turn! Head to your Squarespace website and find that Acuity block in your layout engine. Then just follow the instructions in Acuity's welcome guide to get your system all set-up. Let me know how it goes in the comments below.
