VIP Website Refresh Package
$4,000
This package is available exclusively to prior Pixality clients. We’ll upgrade your website to the latest technologies and do a thorough clean-up to make sure both the intent and function of your site is serving your clients in the best possible way to support your future goals.
This package includes:
Strategy call to review current pages (both active and inactive / main navigation and unlinked) to determine what stays and what’s no longer relevant
New home page design on Squarespace 7.1 with feedback call to revise
All other pages cleaned up to match the new design style
Url redirects for retired pages
On site SEO audit and improvements
Training on the new version of Squarespace
Total project timeline: 3 weeks
Optional Package Expansions:
Choose all, some or none—whatever is the best fit for your goals. Package expansion copywriting & branding options, if selected, are completed prior to your website project.
Website Copywriting - $1,500
Want to get intentional about your brand messaging? Add copywriting to your project and let us re-write the most important pages of your website for you. You’ll meet with Connie for a brand messaging strategy call and then we’ll re-write your home, about and new client pages, and update intro headlines and call-to-action text throughout the site. You’ll also receive a brand voice reference sheet unique to your business.
Visual Branding - $1,500
Not loving your logo or brand look? Rebranding and need branding altogether? With this package add-on we’ll create a new logo (or revise an existing logo) and coordinate color and font palettes and more.
Here’s how it works:
Get started by emailing Connie to coordinate a project start date. We’ll send an invoice and contract over and get you all the prep work you’ll need. If you have updated photos, or branding to use for the site refresh, you’ll share those with us. Unless the copywriting add-on above is purchased, we’ll use the text currently on your website.
Project timeline:

We’ll start with a kick-off call to look through your existing site together, determining what pages and content will be kept and what pages can be retired. We’ll also discuss visual inspiration for the new home page design as well as the transition plan. We’ll then get to work designing the first draft of your new home page.

We’ll meet early in the week to review the new home page design and make changes as needed. Once approved, the rest of the pages of your site will be refreshed this week.

We’ll meet for a third and final call to look page-by-page through the new site, make changes and make sure you’re comfortable making edits in the latest version of Squarespace. Search Engine Optimization will be completed and final touches will be made.
You’ll be working directly with Connie on this project. While other Pixality team members may add their talents to the project behind the scenes, all calls will be with Connie.
VIP Refresh Project FAQ

There won’t be any disruptions to your online booking capability. There may be a period of time where the design is a little “off” as we’re upgrading and cleaning things up, but this won’t affect your clients usage of the site. We’ll discuss your preferences for the timeline and rollout plan on your first call.

Nope! We’ll use the pages and copy that’s on your existing site. The exception being—since this project includes a home page redesign, I’ll recommend you revisit that text to ensure it’s still on target for your studio.

Since this project is a refresh project, not an entirely new build, we won’t be adding new pages (other than the redesigned home page) via this project. If you’ve got a list of new pages you need though, let me know and I can quote you to add that on.

Squarespace released v 7.1 in 2020 and it’s got a lot more powerful design capabilities. This means less custom code to get things looking the way you want, and it will be faster for you to add pages and make changes in the future! I’ll be sure to show you the differences in our training call!

Nope, not in a bad way at least! Part of this project includes redirects to no-longer-used pages and re-optimization of the pages you are using, so if anything your SEO will be better optimized for the locations and services you’re featuring now.
