How to add a Mindbody Login | Register Link to your Squarespace Website

Part of the reason you use MindBody is to make it easy for your clients to access their account information and manage their bookings online. One way to streamline this process for them is to create an easy access point to their Mindbody account right on your website

To do this, you can easily add a Mindbody customer Login link to your website’s navigation in Squarespace. How to do that depends on whether your website is on Squarespace version 7.0 or 7.1.

How to tell if your site is Squarespace 7.0 or 7.1

The easiest way to tell what version of Squarespace your site is on is to login to the backend and then check which corner the expansion arrow is on. On version 7.0, it’s on the top left, on 7.1 it’s the top right. Simple!

Squarespace 7.0 website - expansion arrow on top LEFT

Squarespace 7.1 website - expansion arrow on top RIGHT

Check the version of your site and following the appropriate instructions below:

Adding a Mindbody Login | Register Link to your Squarespace 7.1 website navigation

  1. In your Squarespace dashboard, click on Settings / Advanced / Code Injection

  2. Paste the following into the FOOTER block.

<script>
  var innerHealcode = 'ADD YOUR CODE HERE';
  var healcodeLink = document.createElement("div");
  healcodeLink.classList.add('header-nav-item', 'header-nav-item--collection');
  healcodeLink.innerHTML = innerHealcode;
  var healcodeMobileLink = document.createElement("div");
  healcodeMobileLink.classList.add('header-menu-nav-item');
  healcodeMobileLink.innerHTML = innerHealcode;
  document.querySelector('.header-nav-list').appendChild(healcodeLink);
  document.querySelector('.header-menu-nav-folder-content').appendChild(healcodeMobileLink);
</script>

3. Log in to your Branded web account.

4. Under Links, select Login | Register.

5. Copy the first part of the code that looks like this and (back in Squarespace) paste it into the HEADER section:

<script src="https://widgets.mindbodyonline.com/javascripts/healcode.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

6. Then head back to Branded Web and copy the remaining part of the code. Paste this (back in Squarespace) to replace the placeholder text in the code snippet I provided you above.

8. Save your changes and refresh the page. You should now be able to see your Login | Register button on your site! This link will show in the mobile navigation as well.

Adding a Mindbody Login | Register Link to your Squarespace 7.0 website navigation

  1. Log in to your Branded web account.

  2. Under Links, select Login | Register.

  3. Copy the code it generates.

  4. In your Squarespace dashboard, click on your Pages panel.

  5. Paste the code you copied into the Title field. In the Link field, link to your homepage or another page on your site - it doesn’t matter which, just some link needs to be in that field for it to save.

  6. Save your changes. You should now be able to see your Login | Register button on your site!

You can also click and drag that link anywhere you’d like within your navigation to reorder things. If you want to change the title of the button, open the link again in your Squarespace dashboard and scroll within the title field to find the spot where it says Login | Register. You can change anything within those quotations - just make sure to leave the quotation marks themselves. Once you hit save, the text will be updated!
